KOTA KINABALU: Kapayan Assemblywoman Jannie Lasimbang has been appointed chairman of the Rural Development Corporation or Korporasi Pembangunan Desa (KPD) with effect from 19 January this year.
She replaced Datuk Raimie Unggi.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor presented the appointment letter in a brief ceremony at his office in Menara Kinabalu today.
Witnessing the ceremony were Deputy Chief Minister I, Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Jeffrey Kitingan who is also Agriculture, Fishery and Food Industry Minister, Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Phoong Jin Zhe and State Secretary Datuk Seri Panglima Sr Haji Safar Untong.
